Our event in the Auckland Heritage Festival this year is another ‘Toast to Heritage’, as held in 2011 at the Queen’s Ferry Hotel in Vulcan Lane. This time it will be in Brew on Quay, 102 Quay Street, from 3pm on Sunday 12 October – the last day of the festival. Allan Matson will present an illustrated talk on the history of pubs in central Auckland, culminating in a toast to heritage.
