A number of walks are proposed and details will be placed here in due course.

Matariki

We hope to be active, or otherwise publicise the activities of others each year, during Matariki, the Maori New Year.

Heritage Festivals

See under "Other Organisations" for links, particularly to Auckland and North Shore City Councils, for details of their heritage festivals, normally in September/October each year. See our newsletters for Civic Trust Auckland Involvement.

Architecture Week

This is normally held in October each year. For event details refer to Architectureweek

Other Organisations

Please note that many kindred organisations have activities during the year. Make use of our links page for their web site or address data. Note in particular:

• Auckland University and its public lecture series twice a year
• Auckland City Council and its heritage festival each year
• North Shore City Council and its heritage festival each year
• The many museums in the region and their activities
• Auckland Regional Council and the activities in its many regional parks
• Government organisations, such as DOC, and the New Zealand Historic Places Trust
• Other organisations too numerous to note, but shown in our links page.
