Aotea Square, scene of the School for Climate Change gathering in 2019, is the setting for this free, outdoor screening of the documentary I am Greta, coinciding with the celebration of Earth Day. 

Before the film starts, arrive a early and watch the inspiring local new short film, Rise, screening at 5.45 pm, in partnership with Doc Edge Festival. Meet the young Kiwi organisers of one of New Zealand’s biggest protest marches of a generation, and hear what motivated them to take action.

Container in the Square Cafe will be open and selling non-alcoholic beverages, as well as fast food. Bringing blankets and chairs to sit on!  

Parents are asked not to drop off or leave children unsupervised at this event.
