On Sundays June 25 and July 2, Auckland Council is holding planting work with volunteers at Mutukaroa / Hamlins Hill from 10am-1pm. The meeting place is near the park entrance at 1014 Great South Road, Mt Wellington. Food will be provided at the end of the planting.

From 1pm-2pm on these two Sundays, Kit Howden of Friends of Regional Parks will be leading a guided visit of this lesser-known regional park that forms a large urban forest. He will provide information about its history and the current restoration work. For the guided walk, please meet at 1pm at the park entrance.
