Forest & Bird is hosting The Future of Conservation hui in Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch. These free events will bring together conservation experts, campaigners, and representatives from across the political spectrum to discuss what’s at stake for nature – and what can be done to protect it.

These hui are your opportunity to hear directly from experts, put questions to politicians, connect with other people who care about nature, and learn how you can help make a difference before election day. 

All events are free, but you need to register for safety, logistics, and catering purposes. The hui are split into afternoon and evening sessions – come to one session both. 

Evening: The Election Conversation 

An engaging evening event featuring expert speakers, insights into what’s at stake for nature, and a political panel where audience questions will be put directly to party.
