The Mission Bay Kohimarama Residents Association is holding a public meeting to discuss:

• Auckland Transport’s modified proposal to improve pedestrian and cyclists’ safety in Mission Bay
• The noise and fireworks issue at Mission Bay, particularly overnight
• The proposed Ryman Retirement Village adjacent to Selwyn College and John Rymer Place

Representatives from AT will present the safety proposal, the police will outline their view of the noise issues, and a representative from a local neighbours’ group will lead discussion about concerns over the proposed retirement village. 

There will also be a brief update on other projects, including the 8-storey Mission Bay development, and the association’s fight to retain the old Mission Bay Bowling Club land and buildings to use as a community centre and quiet neighbourhood park.
