Heritage shopping experience at Alberton 10am – 2pm – free entry
Shop local for all your Christmas gifts this year in the quaint garden setting at Auckland’s historic Alberton.
At the next Market Day, local makers will be selling handcrafted goods such as jewellery, candles, homewares, soap, beauty products, toys and more, with curated vintage gems by Lynda Hallinan, Julie Le Clerc and Emma Hintz of vintage collective Fossick & Furnish.
Stock the pantry for summer with homemade preserves, relishes, sauces and jams, honey, deli products, olive oil, chocolate, Christmas cakes, tarts and other sweet treats!
There will be live music, children’s craft activities, prizes and a hamper up for grabs. In a free talk at 11.30am, learn all about the uses and properties of herbs (culinary, cleaning, for health, healing, stress, sleep, beauty) with widely published garden writer and editor and founder of Sweet Living Magazine, Jane Wrigglesworth.
Visit for brunch or lunch or a spot of tea with light English scones with cream and jam, served from the vintage china in Alberton’s pop-up tearoom. This is the final market for 2020.
