Our AGM for 2024 will be held at John Kinder House and feature guest speaker Dr Phillip Hartley, a Senior Associate at the leading heritage practice of Salmond Reed Architects. Phillip will talk about the physical assessment of heritage buildings and the management of several heritage projects in New Zealand. Qualified as a chartered building surveyor in 1988, Phillip holds a Master’s in Architectural History and has 40 years’ experience with heritage buildings. He will discuss how a deep understanding of built heritage materials informs the balance between desired conservation repair and unnecessary restoration.

After the business of the meeting, refreshments will be served.
