The Environmental Defence Society, the Sustainable Business Council  and the Climate Leaders Coalition have announced that the Climate Change and Business Conference 2021 will take place on 13 – 14 October at the Aotea Centre. 

By October, the government will be preparing its response to the Climate Change Commission’s final recommendations and COP26 will be just around the corner. The world is counting down to the 2030 targets and accelerating towards net zero by 2050.

This year’s conference will focus on the central role of the business sector in decarbonising Aotearoa. It’ll provide a platform for leaders to share fresh ideas about how they’re executing strategy to build resilience and deliver on ambition.
