MOTAT LIVE Days (10am-4pm) are a fun interactive day full of exploration and learning, with live entertainment, food and beverages, plus many activities, such as the Lollyman, backyard games, print shop, schoolhouse lessons, and live music.

MOTAT has an impressive collection of operational trams meticulously restored and maintained in its tram workshop. The fleet includes Tram 47, a double-decker affectionately known as ‘Big Ben’, a rare steam-powered Tram 100, and several Australian and New Zealand heritage electric trams.

Public transport is recommended to get to MOTAT, otherwise, you can park outside the Aviation Hall and enjoying the free heritage tram ride between sites.
