Greenpeace has announced a National Day of Action on 15 August: “Hands off Conservation Land.” They are calling for the Conservation Amendment Bill to be thrown in the bin.

At 12pm on 15 August, there will be events across the country where local communities will get together in their local areas and take action to call on the government to bin the bill.

Greenpeace is coordinating this but it’s up to individual groups what they do, where they do it, and how they organise. Go to binthebill.nz to register events and view existing events.
