Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga has one of the largest collections of historic wallpapers in the country, with over 2,000 20th century designs spanning the many artistic and technological spirits of the age.  

Off the Wall: Selections from the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Wallpaper Collection 1907-1975 is a free exhibition at Queens Arcade, 34-40 Queen Street, City Centre.  This unique exhibition explores the world in which these wallpapers emerged – and how they continue to shape today’s design aesthetics.
