Aotearoa New Zealand is currently undergoing major policy reforms that will change the way we live, play and do business. The resource management system is being overhauled and management of our unique environment is being strengthened across multiple domains. The recovery from cyclones Hale and Gabrielle will occur in this context and present opportunities to embed ‘building back nature’ into the new law. 

The EDS pre-conference workshop and one of the plenary conference sessions will focus on the resource management reforms, including a timely consideration of managed retreat law. Attend both, or just the pre-conference workshop, which is open to all – both delegates and non-delegates.
