The annual Seaweek is to be held 6-14 March.  See the Seaweek website to find out how to get details of the many events and a competition.

The theme is Connecting with our Seas; Toi Moana ~ Toi Tangata – highlighting the diverse connections and interactions we have with the sea.

Seaweek is hosted by the NZ Association for Environmental Education (NZAEE) and coordinated nationally by the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre.

Seaweek is also launching the national Seaweek Ocean Champion Challenge – Moana Toa Whakatara – a call for all environmental heroes to share what actions they are taking to help solve a problem impacting the marine environment.
 
There are three award categories:
Youth (for entrants under 16)
Adult (for any entrants over 16 years old)
Group (for any group of 2+)
