The Society is a locally elected, independent registered charitable trust. Incorporated in 1991 it is supported by donations. Members work for the preservation of Tamaki Drive as an outstanding scenic and recreational resource and as the direct route into the city.
Venue: St Heliers Community Centre 100 St Heliers Bay Road
Hear about the trust’s major project: Second Edition of Walk Tamaki Drive. Why was this produced? Who worked on it? What is this all about? Can you help to distribute the booklet?
The short AGM will be followed by addresses by invited speakers:
Juliet Yates and Margaret King (Heritage and environmental aspects of the Walk Tamaki Drive booklet)
David Grinlinton (A transport history of the Waterfront and Tamaki Drive)
Jim Sheffield (Architectural and bird icons of Tamaki Drive)
