B.Com, chartered accountant, retired from a career in international shipping and aviation; active in both community heritage issues, primarily through Devonport Heritage, and the museum sector; past board member, aviation curator, and chair of MOTAT Society; member of Auckland Museum Institute Council; Lopdell House Art Gallery Board, Board of the International Association of Transport Museum; was an advisor to the Ministry of Culture and Heritage on the review of the Antiquities Act, member of Te Papa’s Sector Standards Advisory Panel; past member of Auckland Council’s Heritage Advisory Panel.
