The Auckland Library of Tools (ALoT) at 21 Newton Road, Grey Lynn, is a community hub that offers access to a broad range of tools and equipment, reduces unnecessary consumption, and empowers people to build, share and create in a more sustainable way. it

Members can borrow up to 10 tools at a time, for a week at a time, and can renew items up to two times, assuming no one else has reserved them. Booking is recommend for popular or limited items, like chainsaws, chippers and lawn mowers, ahead of time.

If you’ve done anything particularly cool, you can share it, and it may end up on the projects page.
