Submissions for the 2023 Auckland Heritage Festival are now open.

Theme: Peace, Love and Protest

Dates: Saturday 23 September to Sunday 8 October 2023

Inspired by 50 years since anti-nuclear protests were embraced by the nation, this year’s theme explores the events that defined who we were and who we are, from learning how protests throughout our history have shaped our national identity, to the ways we came together during significant times of joy and celebration

Participants in the festival may choose to hold their usual event, even if it falls outside the theme.
