The Deep Sea Conservation Coalition are looking to produce a compilation video entitled “Say No to DSM.” They want lots of people saying “Say NO to deep-sea mining” on video.

This is in preparation for when the Metals Company/NORI follow through on their intention to submit an application to mine.

They are seeking videos using the following phrases: “Say NO to deep-sea mining” or “Say no to DSM,” with a preference for the former. 

• Videos using a phone or laptop camera are perfect. 
• If using a phone, record the video horizontally.
• Feel free to take a video in your office, near the ocean, your favourite park, wherever you deem appropriate, as long as there is limited background noise. 
• If you speak multiple languages, please say the phrase in a variety of languages, just how you would say it.
• The video could be just yourself, a few people, or a big group all saying the phrase.
