The National Heritage Preservation Incentive Fund, administered by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga, provides financial incentives to encourage the conservation of privately owned heritage places recognised on the New Zealand Heritage List/Rārangi Kōrero.
Applications for 2021 consideration open on 4 May and will close with regional offices of Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga on 25 June. They will be considered by the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Board on 12 August.
Applications must be made on the appropriate form and sent with all required supporting material to the nearest Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga office. Forms can be downloaded as a writeable pdf form from the website. More information.
The Heritage EQUIP programme run by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage provides funding and advice to owners of earthquake-prone heritage buildings.
