Petition: No new mines on conservation land

Mining can have devastating impacts on nature, such as destroying the homes of vulnerable wildlife like the Archey’s frog in the Coromandel – the smallest of our four native frogs, and one of the rarest and most endangered in the world.

It is more than four years since the Prime Minister promised there would be no new mines on conservation land. However, applications for prospecting, exploration, and mining activities are still being approved.
