On Tuesday 2 April, Civic Trust had a presentation, “Corporate Funding of Heritage Conservation,” by Kok Hong Wan, a Master of Urban Planning (Prof) and Heritage Conservation student, as notified in the February newsletter (https://civictrustauckland.org.nz/newsletters/).
The presentation, held at Kinder House, started at 4:45pm and was followed by the Board’s monthly meeting.
We thank Hong for his stimulating presentation, which produced some lively discussion. Hong is currently working with the Karangahape Rd Business Association, researching on this subject of business involvement in heritage preservation.
Civic Trust will maintain contact with Hong with a few to presenting his further research outcomes.
