St David’s Church in Khyber Pass has been saved. Ted Manson ONZM, patron of Friends of St David’s Trust, who has supported the project to save St David’s since 2015, has purchased all three properties to secure the church building.

The funds that the Friends of St David’s raised under the leadership of Paul Baragwanath will be used to transfer the ownership and stewardship of St David’s into the Friends of St David’s Trust. The other two properties – Old St David’s at 68 Khyber Pass Road (adjacent St David’s) and the Madeira Lane carpark – will be developed.
