Our event in the Auckland Heritage Festival for 2024 was a repeat of the event we held in 2023, namely, several tours of the St James Theatre. There were 105 people on the waiting list from 2023, and so we expanded the number of tours to six, with around 30 participants in each. Allan led the tours, giving a brief overview of the restoration yet to be carried out, and letting participants have a look at the current state of the building.

173 people were shown through the theatre on 28 and 29 September and on 5 October. There is now a new waiting list of 197 people.
