St David’s Church purchased

After eight years of working to save St David’s Memorial Church, on 29 July, the Friend’s of St David’s Trust purchased the building.

This was possible due to the Trust’s benefactors, patrons and friends, including the hundreds of New Zealanders who supported the BUY ST DAVID’S campaign nationwide.

The Trust acknowledges Chapman Tripp’s legal advice and work for the past eight years and give special thanks to Founding Patron Ted Manson NZMS, and to Max Gimblett ONZM, whose gift of art illuminated St David’s.

Kaumatua Tautoko Witika is acknowledged for the gift of the name Kāhui Rangi Pūpū: see here.
