Donovan was brought out to New Zealand in 2015 by Civic Trust Auckland to present an Auckland Conversations event on the economic value of heritage.
This significant resolution, stating that “defending cultural heritage is more than a cultural issue, it is a security imperative, inseparable from that of defending human lives”, should be brought to the attention of our various governing bodies.
